Some people love to exercise and will fit it into their weekly routine no matter what their circumstances are. However, most of us need a little extra help. To ensure you achieve your goals it is vital that you participate in an activity that's at the right level for you and of course it needs to be enjoyable.

Unfortunately, for most people, working out on your own in the gym does neither of these things and to be blunt it can be very boring. It’s also difficult to get the level right by yourself and therefore you won't achieve what you want to achieve.

Our Solution...

We have developed one of the largest timetables in Cambridge featuring instructor led classes to make your exercise time more enjoyable, more effective and more relevant to you.

Firstly, all our timetabled activities are split into 3 levels:

Level 1 - Beginners (basic movements, a beginner’s guide to the class)
Level 2 - Getting fitter (building skills and knowledge gained in level 1 with less rest)
Level 3 - Already fit (a hard workout, with some challenging exercises)

We have produced separate timetables (1 for each level) so that you only need to see the activities that are relevant to you and you are less likely to end up in a class which is at the wrong level, these timetable are displayed on the large board in reception and on our LIVE TIMETABLE via CLASS FINDER. This can be found under the ‘timetables’ tab.

We recommend you decide which of the above levels describes you best and then participate.

We have also a 3 step plan to achieving your goals

1
Choose an activity you enjoy
2
Find your activity at the right level for you e.g. level 2
3
Set yourself a realistic goal to achieve. This could be as simple as 'I want to go to 3 classes a week'

FAQs

I'm a new member, what do I need to do to use the gym?
If you join up as a member we will ask you to attend our helpful Club induction, this involves a presentation of the facilities on offer and also you will be shown around the gym by one of our instructors. We guarantee you will learn something new. They are held daily (Mon-Sat) and are booked on the point of joining. Please note: You must have had an induction in order to use the weights room area.
